SAIS Perspectives has been completely re-launched, re-branded, and re-designed as an online magazine and blog this year. To celebrate the launch of our all-new website, www.SAISPerspectives.com, IDEV is planning a launch event and photography exhibition to highlight all the fascinating places that SAIS students, professors and staff have traveled to and the perspectives they have gained.

For this exhibition the editorial board invites submissions from the SAIS community (students, faculty, alumni, and staff) to be used on the website and exhibited at the launch party. The best three photographs will be awarded cash prizes of $100, $50, and $25. Runners-up will receive a prize of $10.

Please submit your photograph along with a 100-200 word description by November 28th 2014 to sais.perspectives@gmail.com. The description should include where the photo was taken, describe the situation pictured, and provide some context or perspective on its significance. Please make sure that your photograph is of high enough resolution to be printed at 8.5 x 11 or larger.

A jury of IDEV faculty and SAIS Perspectives editors will choose the winning photographs, but all qualifying submissions will be exhibited at a launch party on december 10th.
